What are you most pleased with when you created your All About Me Silhouette?

I was most pleased with the colours I chose for m background and how I drew my artwork.

What did you find challenging when you created your All About Me Silhouette?

I found it challenging drawing some of the things like a bunny and the word Disney in fancy

writing.

What would you like to improve on next time?

I would like to improve in colouring in my silhouette more boldly, so that there is no white showing.

Who / what helped you create your All About Me Silhouette?

My friend Zariah helped me a little bit and Miss Paton helped by telling me to colour in more

boldly. It turned out way better.

What did you find easy when you created your All About Me Silhouette?

The thing I found out easy was to draw the food on my silhouette and colouring it in.

Room 1 Favourite Shoe Brands

Interpretation

In Room 1 Nike was the favourite shoe brand because 12 people chose them. The least favourite shoe brand were Fila and Converse because nobody chose them. Adidas and Puma had similar numbers but more people choose Adidas over Puma because two people chose Puma and 5 people chose Adidas. Nike was very popular amongst the students in Room 1.

My Word Clouds Learn, Create, Share

              This week we created word clouds relating to our Learning Model, Learn, Create, Share. We had to work together brainstorm the meaning and we used a Thesaurus to come up with alternative words.

Malo e lelei, Hello and Greetings, my name is Ana. I am Tongan and Fijian from my Mum’s side. I am a New Zealander and I’m Irish from my Father’s side. I have 3 siblings, 2 brothers and 1 sister. My favourite sport is volleyball because it is fun to play. I like to try and jump and hit the ball. My favourite colours are red, blue, and white. My hobbies are playing outside, going on the computer and going to the mall. My favourite subjects at school are Art, PE, and Maths.

I am a student at Christ the King School. I am good at Maths and Art. I really enjoy doing these subjects at school and playing with my friends. My challenges this year are to try and come to school everyday and learn lots of new things. My goal this year is to try and work hard and learn new things and be the best I can be.

I am looking forward to going to camp and learning new things
this year. I got a certificate last year from prize giving.
It was a special occasion. My family friends and teacher
inspired me by telling me to work harder and I am very happy
that I am working harder this year. I love to share my learning
skills on my blog because other people can see that Christ The
KIng School is a great school, and that they could learn some
new things from my blog and others from CTK students.

1. What were you most pleased with about your painting?

I was most pleased that it turned out really neat.

2. What did you find challenging? The thing that I found challenging was
drawing it.

3. What would you do differently next time? I would do Mary and Joseph and
baby Jesus.

4. What have you learnt during this process? I have learnt that for the outline
you use a mixture of glue and black paint

5. What / who helped you during this process? Miss Paton helped me by
explaining what to do and showed us examples of different nativity themed
stained glass windows.
