Glacier Dictogloss

Glacier Dictogloss

Glaciers are huge masses of ice that flows like very slow rivers.
They are huge piles of ice.

Glaciers begin to form by snow remaining in the same area
for years. It suddenly begins to form into ice. It forms by snow
accumulates enough to make ice that piles up to make glaciers.

Glacier crystals are like the size of a baseball. The ice can be
100,000 years old. Some glaciers can be the colour of an
aqua marine colour. Glaciers could be dusty or rocky.

There are 2 different types of glaciers. Alpine glaciers form
on mountains and there are continental ice sheets.

Mountain glaciers are V shaped but when it expands it will officially become a glacier. The world's largest glacier is
Lambert glacier that is located in Antarctica. Glaciers are
found in 47 countries.

Did you know that the Lambert glacier is 100 km wide,
400 km long and 2.5km deep. Another thing you might
have not known was that 100,00 glaciers in the world has
